Internet Mathematics 2010

Internet Mathematics is a contest founded by Yandex. This year’s event is the fourth since its launch in 2004-05, with successive competitions held in 2006-07 and 2009 (http://company.yandex.ru/grant/).

Just as it was last year, participants will compete in finding solution to the real-life problem based on real-life data. The goal of the contest this year is to predict the rate of traffic congestion based on previous observations.

Contestants can participate as individuals, or as teams. The deadline for submitting results is May 16, 2010. The winner receives money prize. Please, read Terms and Conditions of the contest for details.
